Best decision we made. After looking at SO MANY apartments and townhomes someone suggested the Ashton. It was the last place we looked at and once we walked into the building we knew we had found our home! Then we walked into the newly renovated apartment and saw the sunlit rooms and fell in love. Everyone there was spectacular in making our move from Miami so easy. The Ashton offers everything we need at our fingertips.

Best place by far to live in South End! Location can’t be beat. Units can’t be beat. Tours are unnecessary just sign the lease and thank me later.

The Ashton is located in a great area of Charlotte. I was nervous coming in from out of state but I don’t think I could have found a better place for the same price.

I’ve enjoyed living here. I like the size and accessibility of my unit, however it doesn’t get much natural light and can feel like a cave. It would help to lighten the flooring and wall paint, and the cabinetry. The staff, including maintenance, is the shining star of the building. They are helpful, friendly, and care about their residents. Maintenance is quick and they always do a good job. The renovation of the dog park was a plus; it’s nice, clean, and safe. On the downside, the pool (although beautiful) is small in comparison to the number of people that use it. It’s difficult to get a spot on the weekends. Also, while the location is super convenient it’s also extremely congested. I’ve found that this area attracts a certain kind of person that I don’t particularly vibe with. I recognize that I’m much happier in the eclectic, diverse, and generally friendlier neighborhoods of the Charlotte area.

Our only concern is how fast some people drive in the parking structure. It's literally dangerous to load/unload your vehicle. We have young children, so it's even more frightening. It's the main reason we won't be renewing our lease.

6 months ago HOME. I couldn’t love it more. The location. The staff. How quickly they respond to service requests. The rooftop pool! I moved in on Valentine’s Day 2018 — so it has been 5 years! I lived in Manhattan for 11 years and lived in 9 different apartments. That says something… I drank a lot here. I got sober here. I brought my puppy home (my daughter - Charlotte). I brought my first child home (my son - Ashton)... I “grew up” here and did a lot of living and learning in a one bedroom… And did I mention the staff? That will be the hardest part about leasing and outgrowing a 1-bedroom. Moving away. I have never felt more at home (and safe) in an apartment building. Grateful for that.

We just moved in, but what's not to love? Ashton is incredible. Pabelly is kind and helpful, the amenities like the rooftop pool, the fitness center and the screening room are top of line.

Move in was so easy and Jonathan was a fantastic help! Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming. Our first week there was resident event by the pool that we got to enjoy. It’s been great so far!

Ashton is the first apartment that really feels like a home. Love this place! They could work on the elevator situation but most of the time at least 3 are operational

Endless mechanical issues with elevators, garage doors, rooftop BBQ grills, weight room equipment, etc. Lot of dogs have been howling/ nonstop barking through the night recently. New hallway flooring was finished poorly and is already very dirty. Location is great and apartments are big, though.

I just moved in 2 days ago, but LOVING IT so far! Incredible location (really, the best!), super friendly staff, amazing amenities, and my unit and patio are both very spacious. Everyone I’ve met has been so nice. Maintenance requests are completed very quickly. I moved here from out of state and I’m super excited about my new life here at the Ashton!

I love living across from Shake Shack & Jeni's Icream. Love the concierge staff and maintenance department that are all super friendly and responsive. Our water heater stopped working on a Saturday evening at 5pm, and within 2 hours they had it fixed!

Wonderful experience! It took us forever to finally decide where to move but Pabelly was amazing. She took us on multiple tours, showing us different floor plans and amenities, all with the utmost patience and helpfulness. We are so excited to live here!

I love Ashton! Maintenance is always available and extremely helpful, the front desk is always so welcoming and kind. I think my only “complaint” would be the parking can be a pain with other residents and there is limited guest parking. All in all I am very happy to be a resident here!

Building is clean and well maintained, although attention to the maintenence of the cardiovascular machines in the gym is lacking. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, management is top notch. Probably unfair to leave only 4 stars, however it's hard to overlook the incessant drag racing, blasting of music at all hours of the day, and riff raff that surrounds all 4 sides of the building. If I had a daughter living here, I would not feel comfortable with her walking alone outside at night.

For as much as we pay around here, the garage gates and elevators should not be broken as often as they are. Also, please install some mirrors in the parking garage so drivers can see oncoming cars around the blind corners. Lastly, please replace the Smith machine in the weight room with a traditional barbell/squat rack. Please fix the parking gate!!!

I absolutely love living at The Ashton! I go to the gym frequently and it is always clean and never too crowded. The maintenance team responds immediately to any requests. The common areas, hallways and elevators are always kept very clean. The staff has been absolutely amazing and so accommodating with moving into the building as well as furniture and package deliveries. I plan to live here for many more years and highly recommend this building! It is also in the PERFECT South End location and very walkable to many amazing restaurants, stores, bars, groceries and workout studios.

I love living here! This is one of the few apartments, if not only apartment, I have lived at that has had a consistent staff that have worked at the complex for a number of years. Additionally, many of my neighbors have lived here 2+ years. Seeing familiar faces on a daily basis makes the apartment feel like home.

Ive really enjoyed my first month living at the Ashton. While there needs to be some repairs made from the previous tenant, the concierge has been great. The only thing that needs to be changed is the guest parking and entry situation is a little ridiculous. There should be a common guest list that should be pre approved to park and be able to come to your apartment. It’s a hassle to have to come down every time a guest comes over. They need to be able to park easily and visit and be given an elevator code. We’re all adults here and anyone who has been approved by a tenant should be allowed to visit without going through a 10 minute process of getting a parking pass and the tenant coming down to get them.

The guest parking is full every single night with resident cars that never pay a dime towards those spots even though I pay $100 a month for a reserved spot. There is literally the exact same cars down there every single night and no one will ever do anything about it no matter how many times I ask. If for nothing else, please just make those people pay the same $100 a month that I do for the simple level of fairness. Also the leasing agents were very rude to my wife, not something that should happen given all the money I have paid to live here for the past 6 years.

Staff is very nice, apartments are very quiet (except for the new person that just moved across the hall from me has a little yipper dog that goes fricken bananas every time i come home and jingle my keys). Lobby has an upscale hotel feel. Would like the garage doors to work more consistently and the gym equipment to be kept up better.

Best apartment complex I’ve lived in, the people are great, the staff is great. Couldn’t say enough good things! With COVID restrictions opening back up, it makes living here even better. However, the complex handled COVID exceptionally well and never felt uncomfortable.
